Connectivity issues with my Router and HTC mobile

Hello,

I have bought a new HTC One mobile and it all works fine except the WiFi connectivity issues.

I am able to connect to WiFi in my office, but not at my home. That's why I feel that it is something to do with my router itself. Whenever I try to connect from my HTC One mobile to WiFi router, the flashing light on The router's WiFi icon stuck solid. I have selected the option 'Forgot Network' in my mobile but still it didn't work. After that, I also tried to restart my router and then tested but no luck.

Had anybody experience the same problem? Thanks!

Hello,

Try below solutions.

1. Are you able to connect other devices to your home router? If not, probably your router is faulty and need to be repaired or replaced.

2. If you are able to connect with other devices with your home router. Check what error it gives when connecting to wi-fi or it just simply say disconnected. Check the password you are entering, maybe the SSID is different. Try resetting username/password for your router and enter into your mobile.

3. If your device kept saying "Obtaining IP address" . Assign static IP to your phone. Go to "wireless and networks-> Wi-Fi settings -> press menu key and you will get an option of "advanced"-> go inside and select static IP address.

Finally if nothing solves the issue take the backup of your phone and do a factory reset. That should work!

Good luck..!!
