My laptop running on windows vista home basic . Total capacity of the hard disk is 250GB. when i calculated total capacity of the files including hidden files and system files is 60GB. free space of the disk capacity is 130GB. what is remaining 60GB used for

Maybe your computer system had been affected by a virus but before doing the tips I will giving you did you check your partition on your drive? you may have 2 drives example C: and D: if you have only drive c: follow the steps below
1. Please update your antivirus and have a full system scan ( You must have a Good and trusted antivirus I recommend using kaspersky and Norton maybe there is a virus that duplicated all files on your system that may cause your drive to be full)
2. Have a registry cleaner and fixer ( I will give you a link on the program that I am using http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download) Please download and install the program and Run it. Click on the registry and scan for issues and it will fix it.
3. Maybe be it is really full because you have installed a lot of softwares.?Â
Try to reformat your computer.Â
