Components are damaged or missing

Hi,

I am using Microsoft Excel 2003 and I am just new with this job. I was trained to use this type of method last week, but obviously due to time constraint of the training, I was not able to absorb all things in just a glimpse of time.

Most of my entries are character string, and my cells contain a lot of characters. I asked my friend for help, but they don't have an idea on my problem. So I am posting my problem in this site in hope to find solution.

Run-time error '1004': Cannot run 'MSQUERY.EXE'. The program or one of its components is damaged or missing

Run-time error '1004':

Cannot run 'MSQUERY.EXE'. The program or one of its components is

damaged or missing.

I am working with Microsoft Excel doing some arrays that involved large string, I met an error that I pasted above.

Thanks.

Hi,

  • This error usually occurs when you’re programmatically updating PivotCaches and you get this error "Cannot run 'MSQUERY.EXE"
  • Despite the fact that MS Query and other programs are running smoothly. This problem arises due to asynchronous updates(when two PivotCaches try to use MS Query at the same time).
  • To correct this you have to do one simple thing i.e. you have to set pvtCache.BackgroundQuery to false this will make cache run synchronous.

I hope this helps.

Hi good day,

This problem is due to the some application copies that were pastes into your Microsoft Excel and also the number of copies that you pasted it in the row of Excel. To resolve this kind of issue please visit this site for more information.

NOTE: Please use Registry cleaner software to clean the registry of your computer or laptop to ensure Excel is working correctly.

Thank you.

Hope this helps.
