Compile Error in Module: DropDown Lists

Hi,

Word 2007/2010 sometimes causes Pathagoras (and other add-ins) to stop working for no apparent reason. The two classic indicators may be the cause for stop running. How can I remove the following error message to resolve this issue?

Thanks for any help.

You don't see the Pathagoras tab. Pathagoras has 'disappeared.'

You see one of the following error messages:

Error:

Compile error in hidden module: DropDownLists.

Hello Sophia

That error is actually stating that Pathagoras has stopped running. What you have to do, is go to Options and click the Add-Ins tab in the left panel. In the View And Manage Add-ins screen, in the bottom you will see Manage Word Add-ins. Click GO. If the Pathagoras.dot box is unchecked, just check it. Also, Pathagoras2007.dotm must be checked.

In case you do not see Pathagoras in this list, go back to Manage, but this time select Disabled Add-ins. From there, you activate Pathagoras and then go to check the boxes.

I hope you will find this information useful.
