Hi there!

Needing for your recommendation and inputs! I’m thinking of purchasing a computer.

I’m considering ASUS Model M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless or a  ROG Crosshair.

Among the two which is better and is considered a “good-buy”?

Which computer has the best features and which would last longer as compared to other models?

Choosing between ASUS Model M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless and ROG Crosshair

Hello and good day!

Congrats on buying a new computer. I know sometimes how frustrating it is to buy a new computer with so many options available to choose from. It is simply so daunting knowing the sheer number of products that come at you with countless mix of bells and whistles that only serves to confuse the buyer even more.

But you're in luck since I used to own that same motherboard you want to purchase, the ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless. I can tell you right away that this board is very good, it has a good mix of features that you use and I specifically like the integrated wireless capability it has.

But the downside is that this motherboard is quite old now and problem is with buying old boards is that you'd have to replace them sooner than you think because they become obsolete more quickly than newer boards. Compared to an ROG Crosshair, the M2N32 doesn't really compare since the ROG series are meant for enthusiasts while the M2N32 cater to mainstream users. The ROG has more features than the M2N32 mainly for overclocking and extra hardware protection, overall the ROG seems like the better board amongst the two.

But considering your budget, the ROG would be more expensive than the M2N32 and it might have some features you would not be using (example: not utilizing the overclocking capabilities (OC) of the board since you don't OC) so basically you'd be paying more for features you don't use.

But if you could find a deal on getting the ROG much cheaper or at least closer to the price of the M2N32 then by all means buy the ROG you wont regret it.

Have a good day!
