I even want to check my internet speed in nokia n8 is there any kind of software to check my download speed?

Yes there are several sites & applications to check download speed of your internet via Nokia N8, and the good thing is these are all free of charge.

(A) SITES

Use your phone's Internet Browser (e.g. Opera):

Scroll down till you see this window, select your package and click Begin Test.

Checking of internet speed in nokia n8

Hi Ranjith ,

                    You do not need any  kind of software for testing the download speed in your mobile Nokia n8 comes with inbuilt connection manager where you can check the packets which are  transferred . For checking the download speed go to the menu  in the menu you can find settings option click on the settings option and click on the connectivity after you click the connectivity option you can find the option connection manager. Once you click on that option you can check the download speed of your phone.
