Can’t establish internet connection using my Nokia N70 phone

Hi,

I wanted to connect to the internet while I was at a restaurant using my laptop with my phone Nokia N70 as a modem.

I had Nokia PC Suite downloaded and installed from the internet via my home WIFI. So I connected my phone to my laptop and tried connecting to the internet using PC Suite but was not able to establish a connection as indicated by an error message.

I might have missed a step. Can someone walk me through or provide exact steps on how to establish an internet connection?

Thanks in advance.

Connect you mobile phone with your Laptop using USB data cable. If you are going to connect it with Nokia PC suite for the first time, then your mobile phone will ask for installation on phone. You can say this installation is kind of client of Nokia Pc Suite on mobile phone, which helps Nokia Pc Suite to synchronize messages, contacts and calendar etc. Probably you have not Pc Suite Client installed on your phone, or you have cancelled installation yourself when you connected tour phone for the first time. You can Google for Nokia N70 Pc suite client. It will be a sis type file. Download it and install it, then again connect your phone to Pc Suite, and I believe your problem will be solved.
