I'm trying to scan 5 2×2 pictures but it doesn't seem to work. Is there something wrong with what I am doing? Are there settings in my scanner that will help in scanning multiple images? I'm using Epson 3170 scanner.

Hi Mr. Huddard,

If you have 2×2 pictures but you cannot scan them to convert the pictures to digital images that you can keep and save to your PC. Make sure that the Epson Perfection 3170 Photo Scanner cable is connected to your computer to scan multiple pictures. Please be guided to install the Epson scanning software that came with the scanner.

Try to control to fix the trouble through further intentional correspondence with Epson. Also try to look for Epson manual reference book for reference on how to fix this kind of problem. But I also outline the suggested solution here as you experienced this kind of problem.

1: Uninstall Epson Scan and uninstall the scanner from the Device Manager.

2: Look for and remove any of the follow files from the HD like Twain.log, Twain001.mtx, Twunk001.mtx, Twunk002.mtx and Twunk003.mtx.

3: Take away the Epson directory from C:WINDOWSTWAIN_32.

4: Also take away the Epson Scan group from the Windows registry under both “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareEpson” and “HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareEpson”.

5: Reinstall and reboot and Epson Scan.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
