When I try to store my database from an older computer, a dialog box comes and shows me "cannot restore this database because you are not the owner of this database”.
Though I am the owner of this small business which is only one man show, I am getting this message.
So why do I facing this message?

What operating system and what database are you using?
Have you upgraded your OS?
One reason you got that kind of error is because you have upgraded your operating system from Windows XP to windows Vista or even higher. There are other instances that you have to run applications as administrator for administrative reasons.
If you would like to make back up of your database and transfer it to your machine, you have to run it as your administrator.
You have to locate the main file of the outlook before running it as administrator.
And then try restoring the database.
