Hi,

I am getting this error message during the installation of Oracle Database 11g XE. What’s wrong with ? The installer is unable to instantiate the file. You can see the error image attached below. Please share some ideas to resolve this error. I am waiting for an expert’s advice. Thanks in advance.

Hi Lorraine,

The installation would have gone through, albeit not completely. Try the below steps to see if it helps:

1.Browse to D:ORACLE_HOMEapporacleproduct11.2.0server path(ORACLE installation directory)

2. Right click on Get_Started.url ->select properties->Web document Tab->modify with this url http://127.0.0.1:8081/apex/f?p=4950:1:332920099833260

3.Port number must be as per your HTTP port number or try 8080

4. Verify that Tomcat server running

5. Click on Get started link from All programs->Oracle Database 11g Express Edition
