Hello, Thanks for the questions. I can help you on the issue. Initially parallel ports are turned off after installing windows XP. You have to enable parallel port driver in your device manger. If then it not works, you should follow the instructions. First shut down pc, then restart your pc and enable port in BIOS. After doing this, go to the device manager and check your parallel port drivers working properly.

Hope, this will work. Have a nice time.

Hello, Ceceliadestineyy! As my experience, I can say that it's happened because of disability of parallel port in BIOS option. In fact, you have to enable it. So, you have to restart your PC and press "F10" to ensure go to the BIOS option. After then, you have to enable it. In this way, your parallel port will be visible. You can try this. Best of luck!
