Can I update my corporate anit-virus myself?

I work remotely and I am being told that my laptop isn't sending back the appropriate anti-virus messages and I need to bring it into the office so it can be checked for viruses and cleaned.  Is it possible that there is something I can do on my end to ensure the anti-virus software is working as intended so I do not have to go into the office to get this done? Thanks.

Actually, if there is any issue in the software or if it needs to have new updates, it would be displayed in the Action Center window.

 

Also, now it is possible to update any anti-virus guard online, by simply visiting the website of the relevant anti-virus software.

  1. Open the virus guard software
  2. Check for updates
  3. If there are any, click update & install them online
