I am running Windows XP on my computer. This PC runs with 2.2GHz E2200 Dual Core, 2GB RAM, Intel G31 Esonic Motherboard with 160GB SATA HDD. I want to know if these specifications is enough to install Windows 8. I want to upgrade to any operating system that will not affect the performance of my PC in terms of speed and efficiency. I don't want to install Windows 8 just to make my computer slow afterwards. Please send me some advice.

Hi,

If you want to run Windows 8 on your PC, here's what it takes: Processor; 1GHz Ram; 1gb (32bit), 2gb (64bit) HDD; 16gb (32bit), 20gb(34bit) Graphics card; Microsoft DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM driver It seems to me that your PC has the configuration that is required to run Windows 8. So you can run Windows 8 on your PC.
