Can I Go Back To Windows 7?

I have Windows 8.1 and need to wipe my system and start over. Since I have to I really would like to put Windows 7 back on this machine. Since I have bought the license to Windows 8 will it let me download 7 on the same license? Or do I have to buy 7 again?

Thank you for your concern . It doesn't matter whether you use 8.1 or you install windows 8 . If you do not make it dual boot than you have to buy windows 7 because the system files of the windows is wiped out from our desktop or from the system
