I am facing the following error – access is denied, unable to remove device (printer device). I am trying to remove the network device from my Windows 7 PC. Is there any workaround for this?

A – When you face access is denied, unable to remove device (printer device) error; you should turn off the spooler and delete the registry key.
Method 1
- Open the Command prompt as an Administrator.
- Type net stop spooler and press enter.
- Press Windows + R.
- Type Regedit and press enter.
- Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers\Connections
- Delete all the unnecessary printer keys.
- Open the Command Prompt as admin.
- Type net start spooler and press enter.
- Restart your device.
- You can remove the printer.
Method 2
- Search printmanagement. msc in the start search box.
- Run as administrator.
- Right-click on your printer.
- Go to Properties.
- Tick all the check-boxes.
- Click on OK.
- Now delete the printer from print management itself.
