One of my clients is using Outlook 2003 but he does not know the password of that. He used before while he created the archive file. Now he is unable to get any information in the folder without that password.

Can anyone suggest a solution to break a password on an Outlook archive folder?

I badly need a solution.

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the site.

From this link: https://recoverytoolbox.com/download/RecoveryToolboxForOutlookPasswordInstall.exe

Download and then install Recovery Toolbox for Outlook Password

After installation, open Recovery Toolbox window and  click on "Open PST File"

Select your PST file

Now you will notice that a password has been displayed.

Copy it using a right click

Open Outlook. If a password field is displayed, use the password you have copied.

After that you need to locate your pst file:

Open Outlook

Under "File" click on "Data File Management" and select your Outlook PST file

In the account Settings window:

Select the Personal Folder and Outlook PST file for which you want to remove the password

Click on "Settings."

If the Personal Folder it is not listed, click "Add" then "OK" to find the PST file’s password you have recovered.

Select it and click "OK." You will be prompted for the recovered password.

NB: remember that you have already copied it.

Click "Change Password"

Click in the "Old Password" and paste the password you have copied.

After clicking on "OK." The password for the PST file will be removed.

Congratulations.
