Bluetooth player doesn’t resume music after a call

I have got a Jabra Bluetooth stereo headset and I use it to listen to music and attend calls. I have Nokia Lumia 730 mobile with which I use the Bluetooth headset. While listening to music if I get a call, the call connects automatically to the headset but after the call gets disconnected the music wont resume. I have to open my mobile and press the play button again! What is the setting that has to be set so that the music play resumes automatically after the call gets disconnected. One more thing is that this doesn’t happen every time but only a few times. But it is still irritating to bring out mobile while riding bike or driving car. Thank you for any help.

Bluetooth player doesn’t resume music after a call

Almost all users of Nokia Lumia have the same complaint about the issue on the music player not able to resume playback after receiving and ending a voice call and there seems to be no clear solution on permanently fixing the problem. If you experience this issue after receiving a phone call, try this: before you answer the call pause the music first.

This way, you can manually resume the playback of the music you are listening to after the call. You can also try a soft reset. To perform a soft reset on the phone, press and hold the volume down and power buttons simultaneously until the phone reboots itself. See if this fixes the problem. Another same issue was that the music player does resume playback after a call but through the speaker.

This issue was reported by a user who uses headphones that doesn’t have a built-in microphone. This probably happens because after the call the music player will supposedly resume its playback and since the headphone jack is disconnected, the music player automatically shifts to the phone speaker. If this is your case, try using headphones with built-in microphone.
