Hello, I am using an old desktop. Performance is ok for official work. Now-a-days I found a problem which is much unknown for me. suddenly this blue screen error appears >>>

STOP 0x000000D1

I can’t work properly for this problem. I have to close my PC when this problem occurs. Recently I added an extra external 2nd hand hard disk in that pc. Now I am thinking that this problem is occurring only for this external hard disk but I am not sure actually. Now I need valuable comments. Advance thanks.

This blue screen usually happened because of hardware and are particularly indicative of corrupted memory. I would like to advice you to kindly take a memory test on your RAM. As you said you attached a new hard drive so it may be the cause of this blue screen error

Blue screen error is caused by Bad sector in Used Hard drive.
Since you are using and used Hard drive I think it has bad sectors. Now you need to zeroing the hard disk.

Use hard disk manufacturer’s CD or visit http://www.killdisk.com/.

Make sure that your hard disk is ok, there is no bad sector, Check your RAM, change it or replace slot, Also check your operating system CD, make sure all connection is ok, connected with hardware component correctly, hope error will not appear next time.

Thanks

Hi good day… this problem so-called Blue screen of death (BSOD) a blue screen with white text-occurred when there has been a serious problem with the computer. Once it appears, there is no way back into Windows without restarting the computer, each BSOD will be accompanied by an error code, of which there are far too many to list here. Since Windows automatically restart the PC when it experiences a BSOD.

There is many option to fix this problem, if you have so many file that you’ve been installed you must add Memory card to avoid (BSOD) and don’t add external hard disk because your desktop computer is Old…please Remove 2nd hard disk because this is cause of BSOD.

NOTE:

Don’t  forget to clean your memory card Pin, just clean it by using pencil eraser or kinds of eraser that you have. Scratch the Pin of memory card and after cleaning insert it into memory ram.

Thank you.

Regards,
