My Blackberry Desktop Manager has been working until I have upgraded to SP3. Now I am getting "BlackBerry Desktop Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close". Is Blackberry software not compatible with WinXP SP3?

There is not any compatibility issue between Windows XP SP3 and Blackberry Desktop Manager Program. Instead, some of your necessary files might be corrupted. In order to resolve this issue you should uninstall the Desktop Manager Software completely and then Re-install it followed by a PC restart. This will hopefully fix the problem.

Run the software in compatibility mode.
You can change the settings by right clicking the Software icon>Properties>Compatibility>run this program in compatibility mode for> Select Windows XP SP2>Ok
After doing this try running the software.
Hope this will work fine for you.
If it doesn’t work then go for a complete uninstall and re install the software package and do as described in the above step.
