Hi  Friends,

I have installed BigPond connection manager on my Windows 7, but seems to be not working. Do I need to have BigPond MF636 7.2 driver for Windows 7 separately installed. Please do the needful for guiding me, so that my BigPond MF636 USB Modem works with Windows 7.

Thanks,

Davionevan

Hello!

Your problem usually occurs when the device you're trying to install the modem on is too new and it has some incompatibilities with. Basically what you have to do is to upgrade the drivers that are missing on the computer. In this case you have to use your ethernet connection, via cable.

Download the required driver for Windows 7, depending on what type of connection you have, install it following the steps shown on each type of Internet connection, disable the ethernet connection, restart the computer and then the USB will automatically connect.

If you don't have an ethernet connection, you can download the drivers on an USB flash or a DVD and then copy and install them on your computer. Don't forget to restart!

Hope it works!
