Hi  its really interesting question to answer.

Well according to me Windows XP Professional also known as XP pro is the best edition Microsoft have made so far. I am saying that because you can easily install XP pro to your laptop or desktop as its system hardware requirements are not as high as other editions of XP. And coming to the  second part of your question it contain pretty useful business and many advanced features that are really useful for professionals.

Because of all these qualities I prefer Windows XP Pro to be the best till now. Hope you'll agree with me;-)

It is obvious that Microsoft Windows XP is still the most popular version in the Microsoft Windows operating system. Even after Microsoft ended support for Windows XP, many users still continue using it because it is the most stable operating system and majority of the software support Microsoft Windows XP. Windows XP is followed by Windows Vista but after only several years it died maybe because of instability and unpopularity.

Less applications support it and it has a great problem when running applications that normally run on Windows XP and earlier versions. Like for example the Servant Salamander. It perfectly runs on Windows XP, Windows Millennium, Windows 98, Windows 95, and Windows 7 [when it arrived]. But on Windows Vista, we experienced lots of program crashing and freezing back in our office before when using Servant Salamander.

If you are still using Windows XP and you want to update to the latest Service Pack, the latest and last Service Pack for this operating system is Service Pack 3. If you haven’t updated yet, visit Windows XP SP3 Network Installation Package to download the Windows XP Service Pack 3 update.
