Hello, it is a good decision of installing an antivirus into a PC, but before downloading any random antivirus, it is important to research for a reliable brand because you might end up installing a virus or a malware instead. So be careful before doing anything. After searching for an antivirus for my PC, I ended up with Bitdefender.
But there a lot of software that gives you safe browsing function as well as a decent user interface.
I chose Bitdefender because of the fact of its minimal ram consumption, and it took only a small part of my screen. But if you think that you need some more options then you can also go with the ones I have listed down below:
*Avast:
This is one of the best antivirus software considering the price and also the user experience. Its real-time shield, and also the smart scan option is given it a newer dimension in terms of normal usage. It is one of the oldest and trusted software in the business right now. But a bit expensive than Bitdefender.
*McAffe:
It is fantastic considering the price and the specs it offers. This software has features similar to Avast, but this one has a better impact on system performance. My friend has this software, and it worked fine for him. But for me it was a bit expensive, so I went with Bitdefender.
*Kaspersky:
It gives a lot of quality features but to its users. It is a bit on the pricier side than the other counterpart. But it offers awful a lot of specs than the other software.
