Hi all,

My backing drive is the HDD, which is linked by using the wireless network.

Continually, I find the error message:

"Some errors were encountered during the backup.
Please choose "Report a problem" via CCC's Help menu to get help resolving the issue.

Source volume: Macbook HDD (/)
Destination volume: Backup (/Volumes/Backup-1)
Time elapsed: 01:33:36
Data copied: 34.67 GB"

I need to solve this error. Please help me to solve it.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Michele, this error is an uncommon error. This problem actually in the file system that indicates a folder. If your CCC archives was on the same volume please remove it. You need to do some customization in the destination volume such as create a link from CCC archives. I think it will be helpful for you.

The problem here could be on the volume of the back up. You must check first the configuration of the back that you are doing if it is supported. If you are using different drives or volume on different back-up, that might be the cause of the problem. If you do separate volume, for example, you use volume for CCC and you use another volume for CCC archive, this will force the system to use copy+delete that will be cause of failure, it is much better if you avoid that configuration and use the proper configuration which is recommended. Hope this helped.
