I downloaded the Avid Media Composer 7 and the installation was successful without creating any problem. However, the problem triggered when I start to work with mp4 files. I got an odd error message; the options in the error message are not fixing my problem. How do I fix the problem without uninstall? Please help me to resolve this error message. Thanks in advance.

Avid Media Composer 7 error occurred
The Avid Media Composer 7 works on both Windows and Mac OS X. For Windows users, it doesn’t run on older versions of Microsoft Windows and supports only x64 Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 and Windows 8 [Professional or Enterprise]. Avid Media Composer 7 doesn’t support x86 Microsoft Windows.
For Mac users, it supports Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion, and 10.9 Mavericks all 64-bit. The error message mentions QuickTime. Check if you are using the latest version of Apple QuickTime on your computer. Avid Media Composer 7 requires at least QuickTime 7.6.9 for Windows users and QuickTime X for Mac users.
To download the latest version, visit Download QuickTime 7. Once downloaded, install QuickTime 7 on your computer and then run Avid Media Composer 7 again and check if it works. Also, if you are using the trial version of Avid Media Composer 7, check if it is not expired. If it is already expired then you need to purchase it to make it work.
