Avast Error 10050 Cannot Eliminate Win33 Adware-gen Spyware

I could not modify the real shield in Avast or switch on Windows Firewall.

Information from Avast:

Avast! Will not be able to protect mail/news (fault 10050). Please confirm if the Avast is not obstructed by the Firewall.

Avast! Is not obstructed by Windows Firewall due to the fact that I allow it.

Run-time error '10050': Network subsytem failed

Run-time error '10050':

Network subsystem failed

If I run a start the time scan with Avast, I need to eliminate the Win32 Adware-Gen spyware. However it declared unsuccessful in the record. Right away, the logs from Avast are not enough to display of what is going on. If I ran Malware, no danger was observed.

Please I need your help to look forward of what is going on.

Try to check if some programs are causing the error. To do those please follow this instruction.

1. Click start, then type to search box “msconfig” without the quote. (Enter password if you are prompted to enter password).

2. Under general tab click choose “selective startup”.

3. Under selective start up click the check box “load startup items”.

4. Go to Services tab then click check the check box “Hide all Microsoft services” then click the button “Disable all” then click then restart your computer.

If error solved by that solution, there is non Microsoft program/application the causing the error so you need to disable that software.

Good luck.

Hello Jose,

It seems that the virus that is in on your computer has overpowered the Avast antivirus, and therefore you will need to try the following resolutions:

  • You can try updating the antivirus and then do a full system scan to get rid of the virus.

Or,

  • Install Malware bytes Antimalware and see if it will eliminate the virus.

Regards,

Nicke
