If you want to install Autodesk Revit 2013, make sure you meet all the requirements. Autodesk Revit 2013 supports Windows XP [Professional or Home] Service Pack 2 or higher, and Windows 7 [Enterprise, Ultimate, Professional, or Home Premium]. For users with Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 8, or Microsoft Windows 8.1, you will not be able to install Autodesk Revit 2013 because all are not supported.

If you want to use it, you need to have any of the supported operating systems. The minimum amount of RAM for Autodesk Revit 2013 is 4 GB. If you’ll be using Autodesk Revit 2013 for basic graphics, you can use it on any video card that supports 24-bit color. But if you need to render advanced graphics, you probably need to replace your video card with something that supports Shader Model 3.

It also requires an internet connection for the application’s registration and also for downloading prerequisite components.
