Hello there,
When I launch Autodesk Maya this Fatal Error appears and the program is closing after I click OK. In the first week after install the program worked just fine without an error. This is the first time when I have an error. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ? What is causing this error ?

Autodesk Maya fatal error opening the program
Normally when you have a fatal error in an application, the usual cause is an unsupported operating system or you didn’t meet the requirements. Also, Autodesk Maya 2009 has two versions: 32-bit and 64-bit. Make sure you installed the appropriate version for your operating system. If you have x86 Microsoft Windows, install x86 Autodesk Maya 2009 and if you have x64 Microsoft Windows, install x64 Autodesk Maya 2009.
Though installations of 32-bit applications are allowed on 64-bit Microsoft Windows, in this case, it shouldn’t be done. Also, if you are using Windows XP, make sure you have the right Service Pack for Autodesk Maya 2009. For the 32-bit version of Autodesk Maya 2009, it requires Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 and up and Windows Vista Business Service Pack 1 and up as well as Mac OS X 10.5.2 Leopard.
For the 64-bit version of Autodesk Maya 2009, it requires x64 Windows XP Service Pack 2 and up and Windows Vista Business Service Pack 1 and up as well as Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0 WS [U6] and Fedora 8. If you are using Windows XP, it is best that you update to the latest Service Pack. Download and update your operating system to Windows XP Service Pack 3.
