Today I was trying to export a drawing in my AutoCAD Mechanical 2010 to model space. When I attempt to export, I get the above error. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I am not very computer smart, so you may need to break down your response. Any help is highly appreciated.

This is very serious error and creates a lot of problem because you are sometimes unable to save your work. This error normally occurs when you are opening or closing a drawing file. You can also get this error in the middle of any drawing file. The main cause of this error is digital signature feature.

To resolve this issue follow the given steps:

  1. Right click on your file and select the option labeled as “enable/Disable digital signature”.
  2. Now uncheck the option which is labeled as” Validate digital signature”.
  3. Just restart your computer and your problem is solved.
