I'm planning to get a used Siemens OpenStage 80 with LCD display and available for TDM environments.  Are Siemens telecom units reliable and easy to use?  Need more info about this desktop phone.  Thank you.

Hello,

OpenStage 80 is a member of the OpenStage family. It can support either SIP or HFA software. It has got some neat features.

For example, it allows remote administration by means of web-based management and by what is called HiPath Deployment Service. The built-in applications that offers include graphical call handling, local telephone book, LDAP based directory access, call log/history, and phone help. The external applications integrated into its UI (user interface) include myPortal for OpenStage, OpenState Gate View, XML API, and SDK. It has got some physical connection options such as 2-port built-in switch, USB Master for USB memory stick, bluetooth, etc. It even allows power over Ethernet.

It is a mature brand and you can definitely go for it.

Hope it helps.

Best Regards,
Parisi
