I installed the new update on my android phone, and when the phone rebooted, certain apps disappeared. I’ve tried searching for them in my internal storage, but they’ve surely been removed from the phone. Does the new update not support certain apps? Has this happened to anyone else or my phone has an issue?
It is very common for Android users that the shortcut icons disappear from the Home or Apps Launcher screens.
Go to Settings, then go to Apps & notifications and choose App info. Search for the missing app and make sure it is not disabled. Check if your launcher can hide apps. If it can, then select “Menu” from there, you can unhide apps. Usually, the options vary depending on your device and launcher app.
You can also try resetting your home screen launcher. It will reset your home screen totally and should only be used if disappearing icons is a persistent problem.

3. Cached data must frequently be deleted for the smooth performance of your device.
