Dear

When you start Microsoft Office Outlook, its possible that  you may receive below mentioned following error message:

This error will be occur / display after you remove F PROT Antivirus. You should remove add-in relating to F Prot from Microsoft Office Outlook Add-In Manager. For fixing this issue, please remove F PROT entires in Add-in Manager. So some steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Office Outlook.
  2. Click on Tools then Trust Center then Add-ins
  3. In the Manage, you will select Exchange client extension then click on Go
  4. In Add in Manager window, please uncheck F PROT Antivirus E mail plug in
  5. Click on OK.

The main reason why Microsoft Office Outlook keeps disabling the email add-on of your antivirus is because it is not compatible with your current version of Microsoft Office Outlook. The email client cannot start and work properly if there is one plug-in that doesn’t work properly because of incompatibility. Most antivirus programs include an email client plug-in that can help protect you from dangerous and suspicious attachments.

This is good but sometimes the problem comes with usability because some of the plug-ins is not compatible with the existing version of the email client. To fix the problem, visit the F-PROT website and check the product features of your version. Another way is to check the documentations that come with your product and verify the supported versions of Microsoft Office Outlook.

Open Windows Explorer then navigate to the installation folder of your F-PROT antivirus and look for files like without quotes “readme.txt”, CHM files (*.chm), and others. The CHM file is the help file of your antivirus and it contains proper documentations of your product including installation guides, system requirements, product features, and more.
