If your computer has a Bluetooth adapter installed, then it is possible to control it using your mobile phone. There are numerous free mobile phone application that enables one to perform basic task such as clicking the mouse.
There are also more sophisticated software like Blue Soleil which can enable you to achieve simple I/O operation using your mobile phone. The software is available on a free trial basis.

This is a much better solution! Our solution comes installed on most Windows Mobile devices with touch-screens, but some carriers Cheaper and did not include it.
For those devices, you can still grab the remote desktop client from here.
We have previously covered other options like VNC, and you can read about that here, even from your computer, which is the reverse process of what we are trying to achieve here.

RDM + is one of the best ways for you to control your PC via your phone, even when traveling it lets you access your PC and will even let you copy/paste important files, for as long as both devices are connected with internet and has RDM running on it.
1. Download RDM+ Desktop Lite to your desktop via this Link:
http://www.rdmplus.com/downloads/bb_download_page.jsp or via apple store, no worries since you won't be paying anything using this app. Then on your phone, download RDM+ Client via iTunes store.
2. Registering your computer in the RDM+ Online Service. Fill in all the necessary details.
When the registration is complete, it will then show you “RDM+ computer number".
When done registering your computer you may now proceed to create your account on RDM+ Desktop, same thing for your RDM+ client on your phone.
On your phone select options > "set-up" > and select "connect" when in the need to control your PC via phone.

Yes it is easily possible to control the computer using a mobile phone. Now you can, not only remote control your computer but also control everything from your mobile using media players. It's very simple to do this. You need Bluetooth in your mobile and Bluetooth dongle in your computer.
