Thanks for putting 110% into signing up for AOL accounts.
Love your passion! We'd also love a quick break to process your requests. Take a breather. Maybe grab a bite? You may qualify for additional registrations in 24 hours.
Error code 420"

Is this a virus of some sort?

Here are different ways how to fix error code “420” in AOL. First, try checking the browser you are using. If you normally access AOL with Microsoft Internet Explorer, try using another browser. For example, start Mozilla Firefox then go to the AOL Homepage and log in to your account.

If you logged in successfully with Mozilla Firefox but not with Microsoft Internet Explorer where you received error code “420”, this verifies that the problem is with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Try updating Microsoft Internet Explorer. Another suggestion to fix error code “420” is to scan your computer for possible virus infection. Update your antivirus or internet security then perform a full system scan on your computer.

Also, try using Sophos. Download Sophos Virus Removal Tool and install it. Once installed, start Sophos then wait for the virus signature database to get updated. When updating is complete, click to start scanning your computer. The tool scans everything on your computer including external devices connected via USB port.

When a virus is found at the end of the scan, remove or delete it then repeat the scan over and over until it no longer detects a virus. See if this works.
