Hi! Faced the problem that my computer can't see DVD after waking up from hibernating. It cannot be seen in device manager. Tried some manipulations: updated configuration, updated driver, installed some program – nothing helped. The drive is not expensive ASUS BC- 12d1st, OS Windows 7, x64. Thank you in advance.

 Hi Thomas!

Sometimes, Device Manager does not indicate that the USB device is not working. Or, Device Manager shows that there is a problem by displaying a yellow exclamation mark next to the entry for the device. This problem occurs because the Plug and Play operation that is required to perform when the computer resumes from sleep or hibernation, does not recognize the USB devices or power saving settings are enabled,in a right way. When the computer is connected to too many USB devices and resumes from sleep or from hibernation, many different and competitive Plug and Play processes are needed to start. That is why it cannot recognize and function properly.
