I am using windows 7 64 bit OS with a dual core3.0 processor.
Yesterday when I tried to install the adobe Photoshop CS4, I got an error and the installation failed.
The screenshot of the error is as follows:
The error says:

Adobe Photoshop CS4 installation error
The installation error for your Adobe Photoshop CS4 can be fixed by deleting the folder for adobe and reinstalling the software again. You can go to start then click on run. Look for the “C:Program FilesCommon FilesAdobe” folder then right click then choose delete folder. Alternatively, you can download the CS4InstallerDatabaseUtility.exe from a clean script found in the adobe website download section. Run the program as administrator then clean the files.
You can reinstall the Adobe Photoshop CS4 for your Windows 7 after doing these steps.

I think some files are missing in the Adobe Photoshop CS4:
1. You can download that again and install that.
2. You can use the upgrade version in your computer.
3. Use 32 bits and i think that will help you.
So try this and i think that will be good for you.
