Do the following steps to fix the error.

  • Reset the Illustrator preferences file.
  • Reset the plate menu option.
  • Use auto tracing preferences.
  • Quit illustrator and open ( User / [user] / library /preferences / Adobe illustrator CS2 settings.)
  • Drag Adobe preferences setting to trash.
  • Now start Illustrator.
  • Select font preview size.
  • Now there would be no problem.

There is another way to fix the issue.

  • Double click the plugin folder.
  • There you will see a folder "Extensions"Illustrator-preferences-settings
  • Find "Extension suitcase plugin"
  • Move that folder out.
  • Now try to launch the CS2 illustrator again.
  • Your issue will be solved in this way.
