Hi Experts,

In Microsoft SharePoint Project when I try to change a password and while working with a Report I got this error message. The error says that Access was denied by the external data source. The following connections failed to refresh. Friends suggest me some idea to overcome this error. Badly in help. Thanks.

To resolve this problem you need to use the SSID with the secure Store Service because these is an authentication mode used by the web app. I am sure this will help.  All you need to do is the authentication mode which did not cause the issue you are facing now. I have come to this solution when I have the same problem. This must be work.
