Hi. To learn how to share scanner on network, select system preferences from the Apple menu. Next, in the view menu, click on sharing. To enable scanner sharing, select the option and select the scanner which is to be shared. Alternatively, a scanner can be connected to a network using Mac OS X by opening the printer queue. Next, select the scanner being used from the shared group. After this, preview it from the applications folder and click on the file, import from the scanner and include the network devices. Finally select the scanner that you are using from import the scanner option under the file menu.
The third way can be of adding a scanner to the network using Windows Vista and Windows 7 by clicking on start and then control panel. Next, in the start box, enter the network and view the network computers and devices. In the list of devices which appears, right-click the scanner and install it. Then, follow the instructions appearing on-screen to finish adding the scanner.
