Wassup Jeremy,

I believe I can help you with your question. The most probable cause of this error is that the system detects an installed BETA version of the .Net Framework is already running, or there may be another installation running.

What you need to do to solve this error is look for the installed version already running and uninstall.

Go Start > Run > type 'Temp'.

When the temp window opens, delete the files under that folder.

TEmporary Files

Try reinstalling and it should work.

Ensure there are no corrupted files in the registry.

It will now work well.

I hope this solves your query.

Thanks.

The error happens if there is already a .Net Framework installed. Most commonly, the installed program is the Beta version of this particular program. What you need to do is to uninstall it first before the installation of the real program.

Go to the Control Panel and choose Add or Remove Programs (in updated Windows Version it is under the Program and Features).

A window will appear.

Find the Beta version of .Net Framework and uninstall it. Install the full version of the program after.

Another reason is you are installing another program while .Net Framework is being installed.

The Windows Installer Setup can only run one at a time.

Make sure you are installing just one program at a time.
