MS Hardware

I have the Microsoft LifeCam Cinema camera. I installed the drivers and other things via the CDs provided with it.

I have a core 2 quad q6600 processor with Microsoft Windows 64bit installed with all the recent updates and have 6gb of Ram.

Now after installing the camera when I click on its icon it says

“LifeCam could not find the LifeCam Files folder or save a file in it. For more information, see "Troubleshooting and product support" in LifeCam Help.”

Well I looked up the Troubleshooting and product support, and there was nothing useful in it that I could understand correcting the problem.

 Thanks Daniel Monroe

Hello,

I recently bought a new transceiver for my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 since I damaged the original one. Problem is that I don’t know how do I pair the new transceiver with my mouse now. The transceiver has a Bluetooth button at the bottom which makes the light to turn red/green, other than that info I have no idea as to what the light does or what it indicates.

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate and have an HP PC other than that my technical know-how is NIL. Please I need help and in very simple language as you might know by now that I'm technically dumb.

Hi,

I use windows vista professional and recently I am having trouble using my new Microsoft wireless multimedia keyboard 1.1. Well the problem is that my keyboard gets connected to my computer but it wont give the output right. The keys are all coming up wrong, when I type 'w' for example I get 'a' or if I type 'q' I get 'n' and spacebar gives me '$'.

I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard but that doesn’t help at all. I have checked the keyboard options in the control panel and there is none that can correct the problem. Need help correcting this thing.

Hello,

I have a TFT-LCD monitor; i have used it for two years without any complications. Last week, it developed some strange complications. This happened after i changed my residence. There monitor may have turned upside down or something worse happened during the movement. After connection to the system unit, i turned on the monitor. It worked normally, but after a few seconds the back-light of the monitor went out. When i shined bright light on the screen i could see the desktop icons and the screen saver. I shut it down and rebooted.

I am experiencing a strange problem with my keyboard. I keep on receiving characters on the screen different from the ones I type on the keyboard. I installed a new keyboard but still the problem persists. For instance, if I type “a” it would be displayed as low. “w” would output ro/. The trend is that I get more than one letter on the screen when I punch a single letter.

All this started happening after I trying out the Windows XP Remote Assistance feature with a friend’s laptop. My PC developed the complication during the connection.

How to replace a computer power supply?

A friend asked me if I know how to replace a power supply to his computer because when he opened his computer he noticed that the fan to the power supply doesn't moved. He already checked the other parts of his computer such as video card, RAM and others but its all okay.

The one thing that my friend wondered and so curious about is why the fan of power supply didn't move. I don't have a knowledge in replacing a computer supply. Is there someone knows the step by step of replacing a computer power supply?

Hello everyone,

I really need help on my PC. I have an Intel Celeron at home running with a MS XP OS but the performance of the PC is very slow. It takes about 2-3 minutes before an application opens after clicking and it usually "hangs" for most of the time. I have tried removing useless applications and software, reducing CPU usage and display settings but still my PC is very slow.

I cannot spend too much on upgrading the PC because I had spent a lot of money trying to fix my monitor, so.

Can anyone help?

What to do?

Thank you.

I have been experiencing a series of problems with my PC. Two days ago, It was crashing to blue screens every 5 seconds and the fun was making strange loud noise. I opened the casing and did a thorough cleaning, the heat sink and the processor, which covered by most of the dust. The blue screen problem was solved. I then installed a new fun, Rose will cooler “max 3.4 GHz, but the fun still made the same noise and it would refuse to boot.

My laptop DVD drive is has developed a complication and it won’t work. I have tried playing different samples of CDs and DVDs but drive would not respond. I tried to check for the properties of the drive under device manager.

I went to Control Panel/System/Device Manager and under the DVD/CD ROM drives, right clicked on TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-L632D ATA Device/selected properties and under the "Device status" field, there was the message " .

This device cannot start. (Code 10) Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available." I tried to troubleshoot the driver.
