Apple OS

Apple OS

Hi all,

I am planning to invest in a mac. Having been on windows for most of my life, it will be quite daunting to adapt to the new OS. In terms of viruses, i heard that there are no viruses known to have infested the mac OS. Is that still true? But can anyone explain to me the thunderbolt vulnerability. How can it be remedied?

I am trying to copy a folder from one location to another location on the SSD of my Mac Book Air. I am encountering an error 36 as a result of this. I am trying to paste this folder that has 8 files in it to a folder that is designated to my Drop Box. I do it everyday but this is happening for the first time. How can I fix it? What can I do to remove this error? Should I be worried about my SSD?

How do I increase the speed of my Mac laptop that started slowing down recently? I notice recently that the Mac laptop is now slow which is not always the case before, I check the memory info using command + (I) to get the info and the drive is just 60% full. Also the RAM is okay. What could be the cause of the slowness?

The China Mobile’s 4G user’s base has experienced an explosive growth from its launch on February of this year. Its growth was even faster when it started to officially support the Apple’s 5c and 5s iPhones. It is said that 54.5 million users were signed up by the month of October 2014. Will the growth in China Mobile’s 4G user base help Apple?

I was told that a lawsuit brought against the company which claimed the Apple being a tech giant failed to explain to iPhone users that text messages would fail to arrive if they switched to a handset with a different operating system. Is this really true? I am wondering how such a tech giant failed to explain its users about it.

Last week I updated my MacBook Pro with Yosemite and was working well without any hassle. Couple of days back I was even able to install some system software updates. Day before yesterday, I received notification for some new updates, but I am not able to download them when I clicked “update all” button. Nothing happen when I click this button. Do I have to manually download all the updates manually and then install them? I request someone to assist me with a easy solution.

I installed Yosemite and I got a pop up immediately stating that I need to install Java Runtime. Then I clicked the “More Info” button which opened a Oracle site asking me to download Java 8u25 instead of Java 6 or Java 7. But even after installing Java JRE 8u25, I am not able to get rid of this annoying pop ups till now. Can anyone help me please?
