If you run your installer and it shows an error that is somewhat related to a file archiver such as 7-Zip or WinRAR, it is maybe because the installer is a self-extracting archive. A self-extracting archive is a compressed file that is converted into an executable so that the file can be started or opened even if the user doesn’t have a file archiver on the computer.

An installer that is a self-extracting archive will automatically extract the files then will start the installation immediately when all files are unpacked. If you see this error on your file archiver, try reinstalling the program to restore the program’s default files. If it doesn’t work, try updating the program to the latest version or simply download and install the latest version.

If you want to update Java Runtime Environment to the latest version using an updater program, try downloading the installer manually instead of using the program. Download and install Java SE Runtime Environment 7u67.
