Help!
I tried opening a web page using Opera browser and got an XML parsing failed syntax error with line and character numbers indicated.Â
I encountered this error intermittently where some websites were displayed fine but some displayed this same error but with different line and character numbers.
I would always then click the Reparse document as HTML link.
What seems to be the problem?   Â

This error usually happens when accessing a website and it will reply with a parsing error page like this. This error occurs on the server side and not with your browser.
There is a problem with the website’s script that is why it replied a parsing error. Sometimes by just clicking the Reparse document as HTML link will temporarily solve your problem. But this time when you tried clicking that link it turned out to be another parsing error.
Maybe the website is undergoing some maintenance and this should be expected. Or maybe they are actively doing some improvements on the website’s script, undergoing some editing on its scripts. Try accessing the website some other time.
