XBMC installing error – Looking for Help

Hello friends,

I had an old computer so I used it to check something out. I installed Tiny 7 OS on it just to see if I can run XBMC media player on it. When I start running the XBMC.exe file, an error pops up on my screen. The screenshot of the error is under:

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am using the XBMC 10.1 version and I also tried to run exe as admin but all in vain.

Can anyone please suggest an idea what to do? I know I am making a mistake somewhere but I cannot figure it out.

Your help is required in solving the issue.

Hello Oliviarwilkes! Make sure that your account has Administrator privilege (make your account an Administrator). XBMC create and writes data needed into “C:UsersYOUR_ACCOUNT_NAMEAppdataRoamingXBMC” directory which only Administrator accounts are allowed. Another reason why you get error message is because the proper graphics card driver is not installed. You need to install the drivers first because XBMC by default automatically checks the system requirements to run the program.
