I keep encountering the following error on Windows “WScript.exe – Application Error. The instruction at "0x750257dc" referenced memory at “0x00000008." The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program.” Can any of you tell me how to fix this problem? It always shows up whenever I boot up my Windows XP computer. Any form of help is deeply appreciated.

New software or hardware installation can be the cause of the issue. If you have installed any new software or hardware recently, you may wish to do a system restore back to the date prior to the installation and see if that would help.

You may also want to check your Start up applications for any applications or processes that contains WScript. To go to Start up click on Start > Run > Type msconfig press Enter and click on Startup tab. If you are unable to find WScript process/application, you may try to uncheck unnecessary programs instead. Make sure to do a restart afterwards for the changes to take effect.
