Nowadays, People are uploading their important documents to see & share online. There are many people facing this problem these days. No matter what mail service is in use, people are still having this error.

If someone wants to see or work on that file, try downloading it and then make the necessary correction. Then save the file and re-upload it for others to view. If this method works, then surely the online version of document viewing or using has fault. If the mail company does not correct the fault, then there is nothing we can do about it.

On the other hand if the downloaded file still gives the error then try uninstalling the word software and get a new version of Word processing software which is capable of supporting your word file. If your word document has footer note, then remove the footer and see if works out or not.

The other method you can use is log out from your mail account, clear the history and cookie, restart and try to log-in again. Often, restarting the computer may solve the problem itself.

Since you changed the operating system for your computer to windows 7, have you checked which system specifications that the windows 7 works with.

Things like if the operating system is a 32 bit or is it a 64 bit. In case the specifications may have changed from the vista that you had, then you will need to change the ms office that you have too so that you have the right one that is compatible with the OS  you have right now.

  • Go to Computer, and then right click on it.
  • Click on  System Properties.
  • In the properties window, check the system specifications to confirm if the ms office can work with them.

In case they are different, then you will need to obtain another version of ms office that can suit those specifications and install it.
