Hello all,
When I try to open a document in Word web app, I got this weird error message. Recently I update all my application in the computer and it all went perfectly good. It does not throw any error while installation and upgrade. Why I am not able to view the document in Word web App? Please help to solve this. Thanks.

Hello,
To fix this issue, you have to verify several things.
First, check out the service status of “Word Viewing” service.

Go to Start menu >> All programs >> Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Products >> SharePoint 2010 Central Administration.

From “Application Management”, hit “Manage service on server”.
Here, make sure that the “Word Viewing Service” status is “Started”.
Check the Farm Account for issues too.

Go to S Start menu >> All programs >> Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Products >> SharePoint 2010 Central Administration.

From “SharePoint Central Administration” home page, click “Configureservice accounts”

Here, verify that the programs are running under a different account. If those are running from the Farm Account, change them to a different “Service Account”.
