Hello Friends,

While I was trying to start the 64-bit MCR installer for Windows, I faced a critical problem. WinZip Self Extractor showed me the hereby shown error message, saying,
Error 0 running command

Why did I get this error message? What can be done for fixing it? Any idea?

Please.

Hi,

This error indicates that you are trying to install the 64-bit Windows MCR installer on a 32-bit Windows computer.

You will need to use the 32-bit Windows MCR installer instead.

Then you will be able to enjoy WinZip. If you face any other error then visit here the cause and fix

Hope to enjoy it.

Thanking you

Hello

It may be that your Winzip installer is corrupt. Download another version here.

  1. You may not have administrative rights on the computer. Right click on the file first and select "run as administrator. A pop up window will appear. Click on allow.
  2. The folder you are trying to extract the files too might be denying you access. Try another folder to extract the files too.
  3. If none of these options work then try another application like 7zip here or  click WinRar here.
