Windows XP Windows Delayed Write Failed Error
The error "Delayed Write Failure. Data corruption may occur if the Large System Cache feature is enabled in Windows XP" does not always occur on all systems. The main reason why you are getting this may be one of the following:
– Your system memory is more than 512 Meg. (1GB of RAM is the default).
– A large NTFS volume.
– AGP graphics that has more than the default value.
– You are trying to transfer a large sum of files.
– The "Enable write caching on the disk" on your hard disk is enabled.

Hello,
Â
Â
This problem may occur if your computer uses a 3ware RAID controller, and you have configured the RAID controller for optimal performance. As part of your configuration, you turned off the following settings by modifying the CacheControl registry entry to the value of 0x00000031:
Â
The FUA (Force Unit Access: write through) bit on SCSI writes
SRB flush commands
SCSI flush commands.
Â
To solve this problem, Â you must set CacheControl to zero:
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControl3ware Storage ControllerCache Control
On the Edit menu, click Modify.
Type 0, and then press ENTER.
Quit Registry Editor.

Problem solved!
