Hello,

To resolve that issue, you will need to do the following:

  • First check your system specifications.
  • Use those specifications to verify if the Norton version you are installing on your computer is supported by the operating system that you have. Check things like the service pack, whether it is a 32 bit or 64 bit and so forth.
  • If the specifications do not match, you will need to download the right version of the Norton application, or you can as well purchase one from a store near you and then install it on your computer.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl

Dear User,

This error could happen for few reasons. But consider below steps to fix your problem.

First of all you should see if the current setup file matches your PC. Make sure it is compatible with your windows XP.

The other solution is this could probably a corruption of a file. So make sure if you are installing from a CD, to copy all the content to your hard disk before the installation.

If the problem still exists, please use another setup file.

Thank you
